CHURCH OPEN DAYS
The Church will be having a series of open days on the first Saturday in the month:
Times 9am -1pm.
Come and join us on the following dates.
2nd August, 6th September, 4th October, 1st November, 6th December.

'No Business Like Show Business'
Calling all singers, magicians, ventriloquists, bands......Come and join in St Martins Church Desford Talent Competition on Saturday 6th September 2008, to help raise funds for the church and 'Hope 2008'. Entry is aged 15 and over, entry fee £3, ( to include a ploughman's supper and the chance to win a great big trophy and take part in a fun evening). We are looking for approximately ten acts, so dust off those sparklies, get out your make up, get your skates on and contact Ann Cattle 0116 238 6267, anncattle@hotmail.co.uk. Audience tickets will be on sale later in the summer £5 including supper.

Flute Fancies Music Trio
As part of St Martins' 'Talents' Fundraising Scheme, 'Flute Fancies'- Alison, Ruth and Ann, are available for any incidental background music requirements you may have; receptions, functions, AGM's, for a donation to the 'Talent' scheme, (minimum £10 please).
