New Encounter service times
2nd Sunday 7.00pm and 4th Sunday 10.30am
in St.Martin's Church,
please join us after the service for refreshment.

As ever the worship is led by the band and the service is relaxed and informal.

Encounter Service in Bull’s Head 24th February 2008 a great success

Our first pub service was held in the Bull’s Head on Sunday and it was a great success, in fact we hope to do it again sometime.

68 people attended the service with 10 under the age of 16 years, our musical accompaniment was by our own Encounter Band. 

Our speaker was Ann Murphy from the Street Pastors.

The music was great an the Spirit was definitely moving, God was certainly present, whatever the venue, a lesson to us all. The venue was supplied by kind invitation of Gemma and Deano Marshall who we owe a warm thank you to.

Ann was presented with 80 pairs of flip flops that are given out at all hours of the morning to girl who come out of the clubs in bare, aching feet having danced the night away. The congregation raised a total of £66.30, £36.50 paid for the flip-flops and £30.30 was donated to help the forming of Hinckley Street Pastors.
