If you are fortunate enough to own a pet, or just love animals, would you like to come along to St Martin’s Church in Desford on Sunday 3rd October at 3.00pm? To celebrate the Church of England’s “Animal Welfare Sunday” we will be holding a special service to give thanks to God for the joy that animals can bring.
We would love you to bring your pets with you, dogs on leads, cats and other pets safe and secure in cages please. We are very fortunate to have a speaker from Leicester Animal Aid, based in Huncote, talking to us, and refreshments (and Bonios) will be available after the service.
Please tell your friends and neighbours, everyone is welcome whether or not you have a pet. We would love this occasion to be a success and maybe become a regular annual event in the village! for more info email us at info@stmartinsdesford.org.uk
